The Bulgari London just opened its doors – keenly anticipated already as one of the year’s top 10 new hotels. It has just 85 rooms and suites which they claim are the biggest in the city and the interiors pay homage to the Italian brand’s jewelery and leather collections with silver and brown tones running throughout the exquisitely-refined decor.

Il Ristorante featuring modern Italian luxury design
The Lounge serves afternoon tea and antipasti, while Il Bar offers light snacks, cocktails and wines with its own private entrance along with an Italian restaurant with 3 private dining areas headed up by chef Robbie Pepin. The hotel also has a private in-house cinema with over 500 films and a 2-storey spa including a 25 meter swimming pool surrounded by some pretty swish-looking day beds, vitality pool and 11 treatment rooms – it could easily become one of the best London hotel spas.

Rooms start at £440 but for that you get a mini-bar which looks like a travel trunk, a freestanding bath, TV, Nespresso machines, Bulgari toiletries and the all important free WiFi. At that price I should hope so!
The luxury hotel is located in Knightsbridge, just a short walk away from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and the Mandarin Oriental which will no doubt be one of its main competitors. It looks gorgeous and I can’t wait to visit!
