Open air theatre at 51 Buckingham Gate.
The luxury 51 Buckingham Gate hotel has created a programme of events this summer which has nothing to do with the Olympics – shock, horror!
The hotel located just minutes from Buckingham Palace has announced that its popular courtyard area will be transformed into an open air opera house as part of their Summer Music Season. Slightly different to last year’s summer events which included Shisha and an all day BBQ.
Taking place on various weekends in July (14th and 20th) and August (18th and 24th) the opera will occur alongside a 5 star dining experience. The special three course menu created by the hotel’s Executive Chef Vikas Milhoutra includes dishes such as mille-feuille of char-grilled vegetables, a duo of sea bass and lamb cutlets and English rhubarb panacotta. Sounds like a very sophisticated menu which will no doubt complement the classical music on offer that has been curated by Viva Live Music.
Seated tables cost just under £100 per person and that includes a three course dinner and one free drink. Bookings made at least one month in advance will receive a 10% discount and for groups of 6 or more there will be a 15% discount. Just make sure you dress to impress, in line with the hotel’s stylish reputation, gowns and suits please!
