The Montague Ski Lodge is coming back!
The Montague On The Gardens has announced the return of its private alpine ski lodge this winter! Returning this winter due to popular demand and to build on its success in 2011, the hotel’s outdoor terrace (recently turned into a Secret Garden) will shortly be converted back into a Winter Wonderland for plenty of apres and not so much ski!
Much like last year, there will be a pop-up vodka bar serving the 12 vodkas of Christmas, a winter BBQ with bratwurst and roasted chestnuts, a bar serving mulled wine and hot choccie – with woolly blankets aplenty to keep you warm and cosy. There will also be pine trees, falling snow, reindeer, snowmen and fairy lights to create a real Christmas atmosphere. You may actually feel you’re in the Alps instead of central London!
Opening on 19th November the “ski season” will run until 31st December but “skiers” will first need to purchase a lift pass. The passes come in three options; a Personal Pass priced at £20 includes 3 vodkas and a food tasting platter; while the Group Christmas Party Pass priced at £85 includes 3 vodkas, winter canapes, a Christmas BBQ buffet, crackers, wine and more, but you’ll need to find another 19 people to travel with since the pass is only valid on groups of 20. Finally there’s the Guest Pass which includes a night in a Superior Double room at this boutique London hotel, as well as 3 vodkas and a tasting platter, all for £215.
Whichever pass you choose, if it’s anything like last year’s Ski Lodge you will certainly not be disappointed! Members of the press and bloggers are invited to a preview party on 9th October – do email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 020 7201 3512 for further information if you qualify for an invitation.
We only wonder whether the cute reindeer we spotted at last year’s ski lodge will be making a return appearance!
