Occasionally we like to blog about a hotel feature that catches our eye on our frequent visits to London’s leading hotels. For example, we’ve written in the past about the surprising chandeliers at Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow as well as the slightly odd sheep invasion of London hotels.
The Baglioni has also been featured on London Hotels Insight due to its sleek Italian design and refined service. Now my blog colleague Andrea has sent in some gorgeous photos taken during her recent stay focused on the bathrooms, and we thought we’d share them with you below…
The bathroom sinks are a lovely hand-hammered copper basin – these have been ordered specially from Morocco and all are slightly different. They are wonderfully unique and quite mesmerising.
Baglioni provides some lovely citrus-scented toiletries which are under its own exclusive label. I love those curvy hourglass-shaped bottles…
The bathrooms are well-lit, spacious and luxurious in every way. Andrea learned during her recent stay at the Baglioni that many items have been personally chosen by the owner’s wife and imported from far and wide.
Baglioni is happy to put its name to every part of the guest experience in its varied luxury London suites. The elegant swan’s neck form of the taps below is another attractive aspect, as is the thoughtfully-tilted soap holder.
The Baglioni has some of the most stylish bathrooms we’ve seen in London and thankfully not an open bathroom in sight. It’s a pity we weren’t familiar with them when we blogged about the funkiest hotel bathrooms previously.
We wouldn’t normally make such a fuss of bathrooms, but The Baglioni’s generous little luxuries and thoughtful design make theirs rather special.
