London hotel cinemas release 2013 film dates.
Boutique hotel specialist Firmdale has announced the first 2013 dates of its popular Firmdale Film Club. Taking place across several of the group’s luxury properties, which include The Soho Hotel, Covent Garden Hotel (rated as one of the best Covent Garden hotels by us here at LHI) and the Charlotte Street Hotel, the film club kicks off this Saturday 26th January with an 8pm screening of Untouchable at Covent Garden Hotel.
Tickets are priced at £35 per person and include a two course dinner and glass of wine in Brasserie Max. On Sundays you can catch films at Charlotte Street and Soho with your choice of lunch, afternoon tea or dinner. Those looking for date ideas for Valentine’s Day might want to check out the Film Club running at all three hotels, showing very different films. Personally you’ll find me at Charlotte Street watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s and indulging in the four course Valentine’s Day dinner in Oscars.
For those who want the plush cinema experience without the dinner then the W hotel’s film club has also announced further dates with Django Unchained showing on 29th January, Hitchcock on 12th February and Movie 43 on 26th February. The W Film Club costs £15 for a ticket and free popcorn or £20 which includes a drink from the bar.
London hotel film buffs may also be interested in the Martini Movies experience at One Aldwych which has also released its 2013 programme: highlights include Anna Karenina on 15th February, The Dark Knight Rises on 22nd/23rd February and The Bourne Legacy on 22nd/23rd March.
As the hotel screening rooms are much more intimate than your usual cinema you’ll need to book well in advance. A night at the flicks in your favourite London hotel has never been so easy!
