Win a free Valentine’s stay at The Cavendish using Vine.

by Saloni on February 11, 2013

Vine is the latest app to be sweeping across the social media scene.

It’s slightly different to Pinterest or Instagram which allow you to upload, like and share pictures.  Vine also allows you to make and share a 6 second looping video.  Although Vine is only currently available for Apple users there is apparently an Android version on the way.

The Cavendish, a hotel already very active on social media through Twitter and Facebook, has now also become an early adopter of Vine and launched a competition using the new platform, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

For a chance to win, the hotel is asking you to create your very own Valentine’s inspired Vine – the most romantic Vine will win a romantic overnight stay for two on 15th February so get those creative juices flowing!  Neil Braude, the General Manager of The Cavendish said:

We wanted to be an early adopter with Vine and for our social media supporters to have some fun with an App that is free, easy to use and creative.

The prize includes roses, chocolates and champagne, plus pre-dinner cocktails, a four course meal and a full English breakfast.  All you need to do is get your thinking cap on and create the most romantic Vine.  Then you simply tag and tweet your #ValentinesVine to @Cavendish_Hotel.

Irrespective of whether you win or not, we’d wholeheartedly recommend afternoon tea at The Cavendish as I recently personally enjoyed – an experience which in future might be ideal fodder for Vine.

If you haven’t got Vine, it’s a free app and easy to download from iTunes. But you better get moving very fast since the competition closes at midnight on 11th February.  Good luck!
