My night at The Beaufort and a competition!
After my colleague Saloni recently blogged about her cream tea experience at The Beaufort, I felt intrigued enough to arrange to test out its discreet service and townhouse style myself by spending a midweek night at this little boutique hideaway recently. I’ve written my review below.
But if you scroll straight to the bottom you’ll see details of a competition to win a luxury stay for two there absolutely free of charge…
The hotel is just round the corner from Harrods on a super-quiet residential street. You could hear a pin drop and it’s hard to believe you’re in central London. The staff are friendly and discreet and let us help ourselves to a glass of wine as we checked in (they have a free bar for guests and also the free cream tea that Saloni wrote about).
Our room was beautifully designed with lovely watercolour paintings and an unusually large bathroom. The next morning we were woken up with a varied breakfast tray delivered to our room that we’d ordered the night before, which included: piping hot porridge, toast and still warm croissants, a wide range of preserves, a sausage sandwich and a fresh fruit salad.
I was impressed throughout by the thoughtful little touches you’d only find in a small luxury hotel where each customer is seen as special. From the premium chocolate and toiletries found in the room to the beautiful music that greeted us and the staff who remember your name, it was a hotel that felt like a true home from home. And blissfully quiet and peaceful.
All told, it was a refreshing stay in a romantic luxury hotel. We recommend you go now before more people discover it. It’s tough in London to find this level of luxury in such a central location at a relatively accessible price.
And now if you’d like to experience The Beaufort directly, you’re going to love their new competition. To enter simply head over to Twitter, follow @beauforthoteluk and retweet the competition to enter a prize draw to win a luxurious night’s stay for two with a £50 Harrods shopping voucher. There is also a runners-up prize of a cream tea for two with tickets to an exhibition of your choice (the hotel is located close to a number of London’s top museums and galleries). Full details are on The Beaufort blog.
There are less than 500 followers currently so your chances of winning are quite high! Follow The Beaufort on Twitter and retweet for a chance to win.
