No matter your budget, London hotels have a suite for you.
Whether you want luxury with all the trimmings such as butlers, chauffeurs and personalised invitations to top London fashion houses; or quiet luxury at a relatively affordable price, London has it all.
But what if you insist on 5 star views? Here at LHI we’ve made the tough call of naming our top 3 hotel penthouse suites (and watch out for the mysterious wildcard at the bottom which may end up trumping them all!).
This is purely our subjective opinion of course and we’ve even had to make the tough decision to exclude Claridge’s Brook Penthouse (pic above).
The Royal Penthouse at The Corinthia
The Royal Penthouse suite at The Corinthia represents the ultimate in luxury, with opulence and extravagance at every turn. The suite is spread over two floors with a private internal lift. The Royal Penthouse includes a huge living space, a study and an oval 10-seat dining room. There’s also a grand staircase leading to two bedrooms with king-size beds and bathrooms of honey onyx and Skyros marble.
From the private spa suite to the butler’s kitchen and private walk-in wine cellar (!), this suite has everything you could ever possibly want or need. Your every whim will be accommodated. The price? It’s better not to ask!
The May Fair’s Penthouse Suite
The May Fair Penthouse Suite has two bedrooms and a 100ft balcony with sweeping views over London which our bloggers have personally toured.
With a dining area comfortably seating ten, a private kitchen which comes with a butler, secure lift entrance and controlled CCTV entrances, this suite is most definitely exclusive. It also has floor to ceiling windows and is bathed in natural light. The bathroom is amazing too with its illuminated rain shower. The second bedroom has an entirely different character with an iconic revolving bed as well as an ensuite bathroom.
This penthouse suite is open and luxurious; it feels very far removed from the hustle of the city and altogether more relaxed. It’s as if you came to London to be in the centre of it all and to find your Zen at the same time.
Myhotel Bloomsbury Penthouse Suite
This one is significantly cheaper than the above and yet is still located in one of the most stylish hotels near Soho. LHI blogger Jules spent the night there a while ago and described how it is ideal for longer stays, with both a kitchenette and a well-stocked bookshelf. The hotel is in a great location close to Oxford Street and Soho yet still relatively comfortable in terms of pricing and space. We love the iconic London rooftop views!
It also has all the must-have gadgets for the tech-savvy guest like two flat-screen TVs, an Apple Mac, Mini stereo, iPod Docking Station, and a SoundAsleep Pillow which lets you listen to your music through the pillow.
London hotels have a luxury suite for all tastes regardless of your budget. Take a look at our Pinterest for some of our favourite London hotel suites. If you’re really tempted, ask us to get a deal on your dream suite with our bespoke booking service. It may be more achievable than you think.
