Ahead of the Hoxton Holborn opening this Summer, the original Hoxton Shoreditch has had some work done. The interiors have been given a revamp and are looking a little more plush than before. In the lobby the open fires have remained but the seating has all changed as has the lighting and there’s bookshelves, lots of bookshelves plus a couple of neon signs. Quite a spruce up!
There’s also an extra bar which operates during the busiest times and the courtyard garden has been given a roof so that it can be used all year round. As well as giving the public areas a new look the bedrooms have all been updated too. The rooms now come with wooden flooring, round mirrors with lights around the edges – very cool, Roberts Radios and some seriously quirky cushions! Definitely a huge improvement on the old rooms.
The new look paves the way for the next hotel which will be located in Holborn with 174 rooms, its own version of The Apartment similar to the one in Hoxton Shoreditch for meetings and events, together with restaurants run by the Soho House group including a Chicken Shop and an East London coffee shop outlet too.
It’s clearly the most happening hotel in East London!
