One of the best known (and most expensive) hotels in the world, Dubai’s Burj al Arab, is an all-suite hotel. But if you want to stay somewhere that only offers suites, you don’t have to go all the way to the UAE.
We have several hotels with nothing but suites, right here in London. They aren’t all super-posh, 5-star offerings either. There’s something for everyone, whether you want classy and exclusive or trendy and relaxed.
Try one of these all-suite hotels, where everyone gets a sweet stay…
Staybridge Suites Vauxhall
For visitors to London, using a service like AirBnB might be a more attractive option for an extended stay. But brands like Staybridge Suites offer a choice between a hotel and a rented apartment.
There are two Staybridge locations in London, in Stratford City and Vauxhall. The Vauxhall property is the newer of the two, offering comfortable suites with kitchenettes and ensuite bathrooms.
There are also great hotel facilities, including a business centre and gym, which you won’t get in a rented apartment. But the best thing about Staybridge Suites Vauxhall has to be their resident labradoodle, Wagger.
For a trendy all-suite hotel that millennials will enjoy, head to Urban Villa.
This West London hotel is all cool Scandi style and spaces that look a bit like they haven’t been finished on purpose.
All 100 “villas” have a kitchen, living room and winter garden, perhaps making them more apartments than suites. They can sleep up to 4 people, excellent for families or groups of friends. There’s also a restaurant, bar and lounge, with plenty happening to entertain guests.
Taj 51 Buckingham Gate
If you’re looking for something a bit more upmarket, the suites and residences at Taj 51 Buckingham Gate should do it for you.
Guests can stay in one of the Falconers Suites, Kings Suites, Ministers Suites, or the special Jaguar Suite or Cinema Suite. The Jaguar Suite celebrates the luxury and power of the motoring legend, while the Cinema Suite is inspired by film from around the world.
Then there are the Presidential and Prime Minister’s residences, which are on another level altogether. Just don’t ask how much!
The Chelsea Harbour Hotel
The Chelsea Harbour Hotel has had several previous incarnations, but it’s now an all-suite hotel.
If you want a waterside hotel with elegant suites, this one provides pure luxury. With free WiFi, plasma TVs, espresso machines and interconnecting rooms for families, they have everything you need.
You can get a suite with a great view of Chelsea Marina or sit in the Chelsea Riverside Brasserie or Harbour Bar. And the Blue Harbour Health Club and Spa is perfect to unwind.
Why stay in a standard room when there are hotels that only have suites? If you’re planning a longer stay, an all-suite hotel could be the best option.
