As we move into the second week of December, everyone is getting excited about Christmas. But for adults, and especially those without children, the more exciting event is New Year’s Eve.
It might not come with presents or a dedicated meal, but there are always plenty of festivities to be had. If you’re ready to say goodbye to 2015 and welcome 2016 in style, some of London’s hotels have incredible parties on the horizon. Check out these hotels for an incredible New Year’s Eve bash, and perhaps even an overnight stay…
Hotel Café Royal
The Hotel Café Royal has a great package for New Year’s Eve, so you can celebrate all night and then collapse into one of their luxurious rooms.
The evening begins with a five-course meal in their Ten Room restaurant, followed by drinking and dancing in the Oscar Wilde Bar. There’s a DJ from 10pm, a countdown to midnight and you can ring in the New Year with half a bottle of champagne. In the morning, they’ll look after you with a full breakfast and late check-out to help you recover.
New Year’s Eve is decidedly food-based at the Corinthia. You can get early seating in the Northall Bar, which will include canapés, a three-course meal and a glass of champagne.
For those that like their dinner later than 8pm, you can sit in the Northall or Massimo Restaurant and Bar. Guests can also enjoy live music, more champagne and and an after-party. You’ll also get a wristband for access to London’s New Year’s Eve fireworks viewing area.
The Trafalgar Hotel
You’ll have a great view of the fireworks from The Trafalgar’s Vista rooftop bar, which overlooks Trafalgar Square.
The open-air bar may be a bit chilly at the end of the year, but it will be worth braving the cold for a spectacular position to watch the fireworks. You can also join the party in the hotel’s Rockwell Bar, which will have a DJ from 9pm to 3am, a cocktail when you arrive and a countdown to midnight.
If these NYE experiences don’t do it for you, there’s more happening in hotels around the city. You’re sure to find a celebration you’ll love!
