Hotels throughout London are pimping up their business offerings. The Hilton London Bankside recently made their meetings healthier, and now it’s the Marriott Regents Park’s turn for an update.
The hotel has plans for a multi-million pound project to renovate their meeting spaces. The project will be in keeping with modern expectations, adding new technology and flexible workspaces. The two current meeting rooms will be joined by a further four, while Primrose Hill, the biggest meeting and events space in the hotel, is being transformed.
It will have larger windows to let in more natural light, plus a 300-delegate capacity. New innovative technology, including remote-control projectors and an integrated sound and PA system will be added too.
The breakout rooms will all have USB, power and HDMI table boxes, coffee machines, presentation technology, write-on walls and complimentary WiFi.
Like Hilton London Bankside, the hotel will be reinventing their meetings menu. General Manager Tony Owen said, “This is a really exciting development for the hotel and we can’t wait to show our guests the new meetings and events space. The meetings and events landscape is changing, with constant adaptations to technology and the increasing importance of wellness in the work place. This investment is part of a wider commitment to provide delegates with the very best experience in a contemporary, inspiring and accommodating setting.”
Marriott International’s Meetings Imagined has also introduced a new Meeting Services App to make meetings easier.
They have created seven meeting and events purposes to help provide for their guests. These include Celebrate, Decide, Educate, Ideate, Network, Produce and Promote. So you may have to be willing to put up business speak if you’re thinking of using their meeting spaces!
The update should be complete by September 30th 2016. Curious business people can check out the new spaces on October 20th and 21st during a showcase the hotel is hosting.
