If you’re a hotel fan looking for a New Year’s treat for 2017, you won’t have to wait long. The Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square is set to officially open in January next year.
This project has been a long time in the making. However, it’s only to be expected, as it certainly hasn’t been a small undertaking. The former Port of London Authority site has been transformed into a 100-room luxury hotel and 41 private residences.
The official opening date is set for January 26th 2017, so everyone will just be recovering from the New Year. It’s also less than a week after the new US President will be inaugurated, so it’s the perfect time for a celebration/commiseration for any Americans away from home.
The hotel will offer three places to eat and drink, as well as a luxurious spa, modern fitness centre, and indoor pool.
La Dame de Pic will be headed up by acclaimed French chef Anne-Sophie Pic. An Asian concept restaurant will also be present, although it doesn’t open until May. The Rotunda Bar and Lounge is at the centre of the hotel, under a beautiful art-deco style ceiling.
The meeting spaces will be large enough to hold gatherings of up to 200 people. On the same site, Four Seasons has partnered up with Reignwood and Chateau Latour to offer a private members club.
The UN Ballroom hosted the inaugural reception of the UN General Assembly in 1946. Now it will be the scene of dinners and cocktail receptions. There’s also a pre-function area, as well as Merchant’s Hall, a round room above the rotunda. There are 7,857 square feet of function space in total.
Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square will be with us on January 26th 2017. You can book a room for their opening night from a cool £400 for a superior room. Or why not splash out on the Presidential Suite?
