As many people know, the UK is a nation of animal lovers. In particular, British people can’t help but pamper their pooches. London has a range of pet-friendly hotels, and one has a new service for your four-legged friends.
The Egerton House Hotel has to be one of the most pet-friendly (and specifically dog-friendly) hotels in London. They provide a number of services to make your stay just as good for your dog as it is for you.
Now, on top of grooming, walking and sitting, they also have a special afternoon tea menu for your best friend. The Doggy Afternoon Tea menu features a selection of tasty treats for your pooch.
It has chicken and beef meatloaf, a homemade dog biscuit, ice cream designed just for dogs, and even a special chew toy to take home. At £15 per pooch, it’s a fun treat for your dog while you enjoy your own afternoon tea.
Egerton House also has doggy menus for breakfast and supper to help you keep your pet well-fed during their stay. The hotel provides food and water bowls so there are no worries if you forget to bring your own.
You can even buy a bowl of fancy Belu mineral water if you won’t settle for anything less than the best for your dog.
Pet amenities at the hotel are overseen by their very own dedicated Pet Concierge. They’re on hand to provide services like a personalised pet welcome and toys and treats.
They can even arrange a Pet Spa Day Experience in partnership with The Pet Spa London. The four-hour experience includes grooming (aromatherapy bubble bath, Fido?), a pet pedicure and even consultation with a stylist! Pets leave with a bow on their collar, after-care consultancy, and a gourmet handmade treat.
If you think your dog deserves a treat as much as you do, an afternoon tea together could be just the thing. Take the kids too, and they can have the Teddy Bear’s Picnic tea.
