London hotels tend to do quite well in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards. This year’s awards include some familiar names, such as Hotel 41, as well as some newcomers, like the Nadler Victoria.
Hotel 41, a Red Carnation hotel, has performed well in the awards before. They have been voted one of the best hotels in Europe, the best luxury hotels in the UK, and the best small hotels in the UK. In 2016, they bagged five awards, including the number one luxury hotel in the UK and the fourth best luxury hotel in Europe.
This year, the hotel has been rated the best in the UK, loved for its location, service, and luxury interiors.
The hotel’s small size, with just 30 suites, is a particular draw for guests who want a more intimate experience.
London dominates the list of 25 best hotels in the UK, with 15 of them in the capital. Many of the larger, well-known luxury hotels are beaten out by smaller boutiques. Perhaps it shows that many people prefer the attention that smaller hotels are able to give their guests.
Other London hotels that ranked highly in the awards include The Nadler Victoria, which comes in at number four of the top hotels in the UK.
The boutique hotel is quickly followed by The Milestone, another Red Carnation Hotel, with Taj 51 Buckingham Gate coming in at number nine.
On the world stage, Hotel 41 is seventh place in Europe and 20th in the world, but none of the other London hotels feature in the top 25 lists for either. Hotels in Budapest, Ubud in Indonesia, Turin, Barcelona and Prague are in the top five in the world.
The Travellers’ Choice Awards from TripAdvisor are a well-respected indicator of quality hotels, chosen by real travellers. Ranking highly can be boost for hotels in the capital, although some guests might prefer to keep them a secret.
