Several London hotels have recently pimped up their fitness facilities, providing lifestyle elements for guests and non-guests alike. Corinthia Hotel London is the latest to unveil a new gym.
Corinthia London’s brand new gym focuses on top quality, featuring equipment, software and services from Technogym, a leading global fitness brand. Members of ESPA Life or guests at the hotel can enjoy the new facilities, as well as the other ESPA Life services spread across four floors.
Thanks to the hotel’s new Wellness on Demand service, guests can also enjoy their workout in their room using Technogym equipment for cardio and strength. The Technogym app also allows hotel guests and gym members to track their fitness progress.
Hotels in London are focusing more and more on technology, and they aren’t ignoring their gyms.
In the Corinthia’s new gym, the strength equipment has a digital display with a virtual strength coach, while treadmills allow runners to attempt some of the world’s best-known marathon routes, mimicking the terrain of the routes.
Gym users can even make sure they have a comfortable ride on the gym’s exercise bikes, which have memory foam-style cushioning on the seats.
The Technogym ARTIS line offers a range of options to gym-goers, including cardio, upper and lower strength, omnia, and free weight equipment.
ESPA Life also offers bespoke fitness programmes, one-to-one training sessions and classes for personalised fitness.
There are special programmes to get you ready for a marathon, or perhaps a 5k or 10k. Or there’s the Summits programme, which helps people prepare for a climb. Anyone who opts for the Pre-season Training programme even gets five hours of complementary treatments with the Wellness and Spa team.
Anyone who loves a high-tech gym experience will enjoy the new facilities at Corinthia Hotel London. Check out some other London hotels who are doing something special with their gyms here.
