Put your dancing shoes on for the Afternoon Tea Dance.

by Jules on October 29, 2012

Earlier this year the Waldorf Hilton revived its infamous Tango Teas which were all the rage in the 1920s and now the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel is following suit.  The 5 star hotel is hosting an Afternoon Tea Dance on Sunday 25th November in its famous Art Deco Ballroom.

The Ballroom has quite a past.  Having opened its doors in 1927, it quickly became the venue of choice for top socialites and aristocrats and was actually a substitute venue for the Commons should the Palace of Westminster be damaged.  The Afternoon Tea Dance couldn’t be more timely with the current trend in James Bond packages since the ballroom also featured in a scene in Golden Eye.

Guests can expect live music from Simply Swing and a traditional afternoon tea.  The Afternoon Tea Dance is priced at just £49 per person (including the tea) and takes place on Sunday 25th November from 2pm-5pm.
