The stylish Malmaison London in Clerkenwell is going big – in fact very big – and we don’t mean it’s expanding in room size. No, it’s all happening in the kitchen where they’ve jumped on the current burger trend but gone one better and created “The Stack”. Currently the talk of the town and many London bloggers, The Stack is one big burger as you can see!
The burger itself is 250 grams of beef and topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion rings and wait for it….a foie gras slider as well as a further mini bun. All this comes served alongside a pot of fries and burger sauce for just under £20. As you can see above it’s a mammoth one!
If that sounds like too much of a challenge then there is also a Lobster Burger on offer which as you can see doesn’t look quite as scary. The Lobster burger comes with fresh mango salsa, lime hollandaise and fries.

For those who like to keep things traditional, the Classic Mal Burger isn’t to be sniffed at either. All these burgers are served in the basement restaurant which also features a good selection of cocktails for you to wash them down with or schooners of beer. Count us in for this one!
