The Hoxton is buzzing this winter.
After the Olympics and all the new openings, the more established hotels need to do something to make sure they get their share of the limelight. The latest hotel to give guests a reason to talk about it – apart from its free WiFi and attractive room rates – is the trendy Hoxton Hotel in East London.
The hotel has come up with a programme of events this Winter which includes everything from DJ’s and live music to mosaic master-classes and talks with bloggers. The events kick off with an art exhibition, Never Mind the Art Dump, brought to you by Crossfire and Form Distribution to celebrate the new Spike Jonze Girl and Chocolate Skateboards film.
Then on 27th November there is an Evening with James Davidson from lifestyle website We Heart sponsored by Saint lager. Forty free tickets are available via Eventbrite on Tuesday 20th at 10am, but if the last talk with London Liberty Girl is anything to go by you’ll need to be fast to bag one.

Next on December 1st, up and coming artist Lauren Baker will take over one of the meeting rooms and the lucky few who get a ticket will be invited along for a mosaic skull art masterclass. Lauren’s work, which has a celeb following, is currently in Harrods windows.
Free tickets will be released at 10am on Monday 26th November.

As the festive season approaches, guests and non-residents alike can party with DJ Ramsay Short from the Beirut Collective on 12th December. Whilst on the 15th & 16th December, popular baker Molly Bakes will be selling festive cakes and hampers in the lobby by the roaring open fire.
It would seem there are plenty of reasons to visit The Hoxton in the next couple of months. Let’s hope more hotels get this active!
