51 Buckingham Gate’s sleek, sexy Jaguar Suite.
The luxury 51 Buckingham Gate hotel – part of Taj Suites and Residences - is set to unveil the world’s first ever Jaguar Suite later this month.
The suite is a collaboration between two TATA-owned companies: Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and Jaguar. The 1,832 square foot, two-bedroom abode is inspired by classic and contemporary Jaguar models, from the legendary 1960’s E-type to the state-of-the art C-X75.
Overseen by Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum and his in-house design team, the suite features auto-inspired artwork, wallpaper, ebony veneer doors, miniature car models and a minimalistic clean-fuel fireplace which references the shape of the brand’s hallmark rear window. Various other design additions using materials taken from the cars, such as leather, metal and high gloss veneer also pay homage to this iconic vehicle.
Jaguar wave motifs and Jaguar trapeze detailing accompany an array of carefully selected collector’s items that adorn the suite and will be familiar sights to those who know and love these luxury motoring masterpieces.

Even with it’s huge collection of car goodies the suite is still fully functional and comes complete with a living room, dining room, kitchen (something you won’t find in a Jaguar) and the latest technology. Prices start at £5,250 per night but for that guests get a chauffeur-driven Jaguar to use in and around London. Well they do say luxury costs money!
