Check out Damien Hirst’s Psalms at 45 Park Lane.

Eat high-quality steak and gaze at art...can life get better than this?

It seems the newest luxury hotel from the Dorchester Collection, 45 Park Lane, can do no wrong.  Not only does it have free WiFi and Wolfgang Puck’s CUT - one of the hottest tables in London right now - the hotel is also home to a collection of limited edition art work by Damien Hirst.

The art pieces showcased in the restaurant are from the limited-edition Psalms series.  And what’s more, this is also the first time that all 16 pieces have ever been displayed together.  Yet another reason to visit this new five-star London hotel which only opened on September 1st 2011.

Lovely new luxury rooms...with free WiFi

Art lovers will also feel at home in the bedrooms: each of the 45 rooms and suites features original art by 10 leading living British artists.  And for even more culture, the hotel’s resident library houses a large collection of books.  Just what is it with London hotels and libraries at the moment?

If you fancy sleeping with some of the best artists England has to offer, room rates start from £395.  Otherwise you can pick up lunch in the restaurant (with Damien) for approx £25 – £30 for one course and a drink.

And if you’re partial to the combo of art and hotels, our earlier post about other London hotels which display great art may also pique your interest.
