No Zzz’s yet at the Z Hotel Soho.

The Z Hotel doesn't look very open to us!

Earlier this month we gave you a sneak peek at the new Z Hotel Soho coming to London.  The group’s first hotel located on Moor Street was originally meant to open on 10th October but after hearing next to nothing about the opening we decided to go along and investigate.

And we have to admit things aren’t looking good.  As you can see from the picture above, the hotel’s outside still looks like it did four weeks ago.  We also noticed quite a few builders going in and out and the building didn’t look anywhere near finished.  We have a feeling it could be a long way off before anyone gets some Zzz’s in the Z Hotel beds…

But after some research online it seems the hotel group thinks otherwise.  On the Twitter feed last week, the hotel group tweeted that the Z Hotel Soho would be open next week, which would of course have been this week and we can safely say it isn’t!

An over-optimistic tweet from the Z Hotels Twitter feed...10/10 for enthusiasm though!

We just hope it doesn’t take too long because this is one hotel opening we’re really looking forward to – designer rooms, free WiFi, a central London location and all from £85 a night (those with a beady eye will spot that they were previously telling us on their website that rates would start at £75, but that over-run obviously has to be paid for somehow!).
