Free WiFi touchdown @ Apex City of London.
We arrived at our free WiFi touchdown at the Apex City of London and were greeted by three little ducks.
We recently visited the Apex City of London to test the free WiFi and were soon joined by three Apex duckies to keep us entertained. But when we looked away for a moment to enjoy the hotel’s contemporary and yet friendly vibe (we’ve previously blogged a proper review of Apex City), the ducks playfully hijacked our camera and took pictures of themselves around the hotel while we were busy with our live tweeting.
We didn’t even realise until we got home and went through our photos…

Although the ducks slightly hijacked our free WiFi touchdown they did keep us company all day and showed us the spectacular view of Tower Bridge from one of the top floor rooms. And as we worked in the lobby lounge after enjoying a delicious lunch from the hotel’s creative bar menu, we even overheard one of the Apex sales executives doing a pitch to some potential corporate clients. Imagine our surprise when we saw her deftly deploy one of the ducks to close the deal – and judging by the “aw shucks, aren’t they cute” expression on the client it seemed to do the trick!
Overall, we had lots of fun at Apex City of London and the free WiFi worked without a glitch. Remember, there’s no need to stay in luxury hotels which charge extra when there are so many great London hotels with free WiFi!
