Across the road from the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace is Hotel 41 - a free WiFi 5 star boutique London hotel which has been at or near the top of the Tripadvisor charts for quite a while thanks to its flawless service and stylish retro design. We recently visited to test its promise of free WiFi.
Hotel 41, just like the Rubens at the Palace which we also recently visited for a similar free WiFi touchdown, is part of Red Carnation Hotels - where staff are famous for their ”tiny noticeable touches” designed to make guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.
Our primary focus this visit was the WiFi given how many so-called luxury hotels charge extra for this basic amenity. Hotel 41′s management understands that the internet is essential for luxury travellers and told us they wouldn’t dream of inconveniencing their guests in this way.

Overall our afternoon testing the WiFi at Hotel 41 went splendidly and the WiFi itself was as flawless as the staff’s attention to detail and service. They even brought us some homemade goodies and cakes to thoroughly spoil us while we worked.
