With the Olympics on the horizon London hotels are doing all they can to attract visitors and stand out from the crowd. The latest hotel to offer something special is the Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury Street. You may recall that we visited the hotel for our recent free WiFi touchdown; it has now also unveiled a new 7th floor with VIP amenities.
The floor houses just 11 rooms, 5 of which are Studio Suites with the other 6 being King Deluxe rooms. Accessible only via a gold key card given exclusively to guests of one of the rooms, you can be sure of absolute privacy during your stay. The 7th floor rooms are even more luxurious than standard rooms with iPod docking stations, free movies and music, free drinks from the minibar, free newspapers and free daily fresh fruit (there is also free WiFi of course throughout the hotel).

Prices start from £225 for a room on the 7th floor – great value when you factor in the money saved via all those added extras at one of the most central London hotels. For something a bit more special than your average room, you can’t go wrong with a room on the exclusive floor – in fact, you can even hire out the entire floor for a wedding party or event.
We like this idea of establishing a premium service floor a lot more than “women only floors” which some other hotels have focused on.
