The Sheraton Heathrow gets a facelift.
The Sheraton Heathrow's public areas recently underwent a multi-million refurbishment
The public areas of the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel have been transformed following a multi-million pound refurbishment. The airport hotel, which has 426 rooms and bills itself as one of the most convenient Heathrow hotels, now boasts two brand new bars, a restaurant, slick reception and lobby area along with a new self service café and communications hub.
Guests can take full advantage of the facilities with unlimited access to the fitness studio and the connectivity hub in the new cafe. The good news is the hub has a selection of computers available for use which offer free Internet access, the bad news is the free Internet only lasts 45 mins.
But this is not surprising since unfortunately very few Heathrow airport hotels offer free unlimited WiFi, with the nearby Radisson Edwardian Heathrow being one of the few exceptions - useful to know, particularly for companies seeking conference venues near Heathrow.

The swish new lobby with a library for guests to use
Foodwise The Orchard restaurant serves traditional English dishes such as locally-sourced English beef and homemade breads prepared in the stone fire oven. The new Discovery Bar has a long list of wines by the glass, cocktails and local beers, as well as an English tapas style menu. The more formal Orange lounge is the Sheraton Heathrow’s cocktail bar.

The stylish new furniture provides a comfortable setting for travellers
Reception has also been given a makeover and the lobby contains a selection of travel literature so you can read up on your holiday destination or plan your next trip. All rooms were fully refurbished prior to the renovation of the public areas – but it’s such a shame they charge for WiFi!
