It’s strawberry season at Red Carnation!
If you have the blues because of the rainy London summer, why not lighten up with some fresh and delicious summer snacks? Strawberry treats are available at various Red Carnation Hotels, despite the poor weather so far.
A number of the luxury hotel collection’s boutique London hotels are celebrating the great British strawberry season including Rubens at the Palace, Montague on the Gardens and Egerton House Hotel.

Head Chef Daniel Collins at the Library Restaurant of the Rubens at the Palace has created a special strawberry menu available only this month, featuring strawberries from start to finish with pan-seared cornish scallops, wilted greens, peppered strawberry and rhubarb compote, along with chervil risotto as a starter.
Main course consists of green venison cutlets, sugar snap peas, sweet potato mash, and strawberry and mint vinaigrette (image above). This delicious meal is crowned by the dessert: chilled strawberry soup, mini Romanoff and strawberry & basil sorbet, followed by coffee, and petit fours.
Book direct with the Montague Hotel at the best guaranteed rate
Next up the Montague on the Garden’s Secret Garden, serving Kentish strawberries and cream as part of its Best of British Afternoon Tea with a fun selection of finger sandwiches and pastries, which we had the chance to sample when we visited for the opening party, as previously blogged.
Not only did they look irresistible but they also tasted delicious!
Book direct with the Egerton House Hotel at the best guaranteed rate
And lastly the Egerton House Hotel is offering free Best of British strawberries to guests, another thoughtful tiny noticeable touch. Red Carnation Collection hotels are famous for celebrating each season in a fresh way - and this time, quite literally, with crunchy ripe strawberries!
