An exotic world tour from your hotel bathtub!
The Goring can never be accused of being boring, particularly now that the 5 star hotel has teamed up with Molton Brown to create an inspiring Bath Butler menu. The menu is focused on ‘London via the World’ which seems to be the theme of most London hotel packages with the Olympics taking place, most recently the Andaz with its Food Marathon menu.
Available from now until 15th September, the experience promises to transport guests to one of five exotic destinations via their bathtubs. The trips on offer include China, Florida, The Gulf of Guinea, Australia and Madagascar – what’s more if you stay for five nights you could visit them all! That puts ‘around the world in 80 days’ to shame.

The menu is made up of Molton Brown’s new Global Heroes MMXII collection and also includes a cocktail matched to the country – I personally like the sound of the Lavender and Blueberry Martini for the China option – as well as candles and a butler to prepare the bath. Each bathing “experience” costs £20.12, as in the year 2012. What’s more the hotel also has a large and lovely garden so guests can make the most of the sunshine too.
The Goring also features in our top 10 London hotel afternoon teas.
