Accessible rooms at Tune Westminster.

One of four accessible guest rooms at the newly-opened Tune Hotel Westminster
We’ve mentioned before on this blog how the Mayor of London is aiming for an increase in the number of London hotel rooms for people with special needs. And we’ve also looked at the best accessible London hotel rooms.
So it’s encouraging to see that budget newcomer Tune Hotels – a company with ambitious expansion plans in London and the UK – has included several such rooms in its well-received Tune Westminster hotel.
When London Hotels Insight did a little tour of the hotel recently, we checked them out and were impressed by what we saw. The term “spacious” can’t usually be used in the context of a Tune Hotel room (as the company itself is the first to admit) but in this case is certainly valid, especially when it comes to the fully-equipped accessible bathroom.
The hotel in fact has four special needs rooms in total – three with windows and one without. The disabled access rooms we inspected were roomy and well-specified (though you’ll obviously need to demonstrate that you have a genuine requirement in order to reserve one).

You can get the full details of the two types of Tune accessible guest rooms on offer from the company’s website. If you have any further questions about access to the hotel, you can get in touch with the hotel’s reception by emailing your queries to frontdesk@westminster.tunehotels.com.
